I'll tune in to hear Joe Biden "speak". That is always entertainment.
The DNC will keep him safe until Election Day. Democrats cringe every single time Biden opens his mouth. They are best to keep him tucked away and make sure he gets his daily nap in.
Never underestimate the ability of the DNC to screw up a sure thing. The Hillary campaign was also way ahead in polls at this point and she also stayed low profile, but by the time the polls started to shift it was too late.
Hillary never stayed low profile. She simply showed up to all the wrong places and events. She also over scheduled which is why she got sick mid campaign. And she was stuck doing constant DNC fundraisers because Obama had completely ignored the need to party build during his term so the national organization was not simply broke but bordering on debt.
She was never my favorite and the fact that anyone thought Robby Mook knew how to run a campaign completely eludes me. The whole group reviewed only data and dismissed the people in the swing states who were sounding alarms based on personal experiences. That said Hillary did remain engaged.
Biden's people will probably throw one big joint interview to one network and a solo sitdown to another. He did a MSNBC spot last month.

Yes, it’s true. Joe Biden is so far into dementia that they are afraid he can’t even read a speech, prepared by someone else, off a teleprompter. Instead, they are having him record it until he gets a version he doesn’t flub. Wonder how many takes he’ll need.

I don’t consider fundraising the same thing as campaigning, and obviously neither did the voters, popular votes aside.
A political campaign is about connecting with the folks, you can’t hide your way to an election victory.
We’ve already seen some recent polls swinging back towards Trump, in my view Biden needs to get out there.
