Then they turned the Iron Sheik into Colonel Mustafa, and expected us not to notice it was the same guy, like the way nobody recognizes superman when he puts on a pair of glasses.
I love Sheik but more for his crazy uncle rants that are entirely off-color. As a wrestler, he's OK. I am more of a Bret style guy as I said.

I was never a Bret Hart fan. I liked Hogan, Piper, The Undertaker, and of course Andre. Then, of course I grew out of it and hadn't thought about wrestling for many years.
Then about 7 or 8 years ago, my son became friends with Shane McMahon's 3 boys. Turns out he lives down the street from our beach house, so he and I would watch the kids in the ocean, playing football on the beach, etc. I honestly never even knew him to be a wrestler or any part of the organization, because I hadn't watched wrestling in decades. But the conversations with him brought up a lot of old memories.
