Joe Biden’s campaign said Tuesday his choice of Sen. Kamala Harris as his vice presidential running mate sparked its best grassroots fundraising day ever as ActBlue, the main donation platform for the Democratic Party, said it had collected more than $10.8 million in just four hours.
LOL. Some of you obviously don't know the meaning of grassroots.
This bodes very well for Biden. People wouldn't have turned out en masse like that if they didn't approve of this pick. Think about that--nearly $11 million in four hours. Now that's impressive.
Tell us again how there's no enthusiasm in the Democratic party for this election.
It only dramatizes how sadly BOTH parties are so co-opted, broken, corrupted by $$$ in politics that there is ZERO possibility of even remotely getting a chance to vote for TRULY democratically-selected candidates who REALLY care about "what's best for average Americans" (vs. "What's best for the big $$ donors/PACS who fund our campaigns"). Remember when POTUS candidates were actually selected at the convention by rank and file delegates?? Like 50 years ago?? Now the DNC rigs, prematurely aborts, the primary process to "anoint" the one they have decided to crown in back rooms at the behest of Wall St., as it flagrantly did in the case of over-the hill, clueless Biden, who was badly getting his clock cleaned in primary votes right and left--BEFORE the pro-Wall St./Clinton/Obama wing stepped in to salvage him in order to sabotage progressives (Sanders, Warren) who apparently threatened their power monopoly. The same wing of the party has obviously decided that Biden HAD to pick a black woman "OR ELSE" in the name of extreme "diversity politics"....so they could run ANOTHER lame, race-obsessed, ID campaign like they did in 2016 (which IMO cost them the election because most Americans are turned off by constant race sermons from politicians/the media.
It's no secret that BOTH Biden and Harris are career-long tools of Wall St., big corp./banks and that the ENTIRE political system is hopelessly rigged to keep churning out multimillionaires like this, laughably touting them as "champions of Middle America". Biden voted to outsource MILLIONS of American jobs and deregulate banks (allow subprime loans and banks using acct funds for investment in shady deals), and allow credit card companies to jack up interest rates and give credit cards out like candy to people with no income in the 80s, 90s--all of which which helped trigger the 2008 crash. Harris is one of the BIGGEST recipients of Wall St. cash in the US Senate. Champions of "average America"....INDEED!!
Yet more reasons to--ONCE AGAIN--vote 3P or stay home in protest instead of wasting my time rubberstamping ANOTHER 4 years of pro-Wall St., corp., bank policies that keep screwing us average Americans to benefit the rich. America has essentially come to resemble Communist China in it's 4 year election cycles: You get to choose between the undemocratically "party-sanctioned" candidate/s on the ballot or nothing. SAME DIFFERENCE!!
Within 24 hours they raises 26 million from small donors woop woop!
