Oh yes it will. My insurance quadrupled 3 months after Obamacare was signed into action. My dad lost his job in 1973 when Nixon signed the EPA and shut down all the coal mines. Another buddy of mine lost his job at Motorolla when Clinton signed the NAFTA act and the plant shipped to Mexico. Another buddy lost his job at Disney world when politicians passed the H1B1 work Visas. Florida is now the third most populated state in the country because people are fleeing from the mass taxes of New York.

83 days until President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris

Have you noticed how many threads these days are devoted to desperate liberal fanatics trying to pump themselves up? Doing everything they can to delude themselves into believing the most ludicrous Dem ticket since George McGovern has a chance to win in November?

Just please promise to have this 1 countdown thread, and not go all AW and start a new one every few days.

Is that asking too much?

I'll be relieved to get rid of the wanna be dictator. The new administration may not be perfect but it's a step back towards normalcy, a step in the right direction. They won't be able to lean that far to the left because most people are in the middle and won't allow it. So it should be a start to a much needed recovery for our country.

I'll still be voting for Biden because I knew that stuff was BS but the Democratic party has got to get away from their effing insane identity politics. I'm really disappointed in the selection of Kamala Harris given that all she seems to have in her bag is racial and gender attacks.

That stuff started in 2008, it's not just Trump and it needs to stop.

There wasn't a single white male in the democratic primaries that wasn't accused of sexism and racism.

Do you think that's healthy for this country?

It is shocking that anyone could possibly think that the government doesn't impact the direction of the country and consequently, the lives of its citizens. But it does explain low turnout numbers. Probably best that such low information people don't have a say.

nevermind the continued "wannabe dictator" line, please tell us how...

*The current makeup of the House...that rams through every vote along party lines
*a frankly expected loss of 3+ Senate seats. If it were 50-50 (which would be so 2020!), what - the VP (Harris) votes to break ties on everything?

Wouldn't let the Democrats "lean that far left"?

Because of the crybaby left who can't take losing an election. Who thinks chalking the name of a Republican presidential candidate is a hate crime.

We can't help it that so many on the left are on the verge of full insanity. Its bizarre.
