I'm guessing you really mean Kamala Harris becomes president, but you've bought into the birther movement v2.0 - that Harris isn't qualified to be VP or President.

Oh, for goodness sake, that is NOT true. If the VP is called upon to serve as president, he or she will appoint a new VP. It does not automatically go to the speaker.

Some people out there (I think it was Breitbart) is pushing the notion that Harris isn't an American citizen. So, she isn't qualified to serve as VP. To be fair, to be a Senator, you have to be a naturalized citizen for nine years. And considering it wasn't questioned then, and she never changed citizenship, a logical conclusion is she has always been a US Citizen.
I'm looking forward to Birther 2.0. We'll be hearing this for the next 80 days, at least.
