Let's be honest. The left used Ford as a weapon. It was never about concern for women, or Ford. It was about blocking Kavanaugh. That is all it was about. They delayed releasing the accusations, the delayed not to gather evidence, or for the sake of the alleged victim, they delayed because of time.
The left tarred and feathered every single Clinton accuser. The left has defended Biden. Harris who at first believed Biden's accuser is now his best buddy. The difference of course is that Biden's accuser has witnesses who back her story, she has a time line that is credible, and she is a democrat.
Why believe Ford and not her? The left has no moral high ground here. They lost that with Bill Clinton. They lost it again when they defend Biden's hair sniffing and groping.
And they positively set it ablaze during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugh.
That is pretty pathetic that your partisan politics would allow an justification to take out what you perceive as a ideological opponent, by any means possible. To attempt to frame a person as a rapist is about one of the worst things you can do to a person, and I am sure you would be horrified if someone did it to you, or your son.
I was never a fan of Justice Breyer, and knew is judicial activism would only be rivaled by Justice Ginsburg. However I never would have approved of an effort to falsely smear him with some despicable accusation, just to keep him off the scotus.
Lets not forget that Kamala was willing to trash Biden with false accusations to try and destroy a fellow Democrat because Biden was a political opponent. She did it for her own gain to try and knockout the front runner.
She did it with no regard to how it might personally effect Biden now and in the future.
I don't know about anyone else, but if she genuinely thought he was a racist, she never would have agreed to be his running mate. So her recent pathetic apology to try and now put her behavior behind her, will fall on deaf ears for anyone without blinders on.
She and most of the rest of the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee were aggressively and maliciously nasty. It was truly one of the most evil displays that our nation has ever witnessed.
It was absolutely despicable in the extreme. But you seem to think that is pretty cool and you are someone who cheers for that kind of conduct. Now we know.
It was one of two turning points for me in deciding how my vote is going this year. Trump 2020 as a push-back on all the maliciousness.
