A more sane proposal, and one I could get behind is to somehow eliminate that incentive for CEO's to lay people off just to increase the stock margin a tiny bit. I’d be for a limit as to how many multiples a CEO can earn relative to the average salary of the employees at his company - say, 20. That means if the average salary is $50,000, the CEO tops out at $1 million.

(I myself owned a small business, and my “draw” was less than double the average salary.)

The politics of envy are tantalizing.
Obviously, there are those who got rich by their own labors and talents. There is no ire aimed at them.

But there are others who got rich by not trading their labors or property - but by the abominable skim of usury.
Usury, the fee in money for the loan / use of money, has been denounced for "Only" 3500 years.

Greed has promoted inflation to an absurd degree... where homes prices are out of line with income, quality food is out of line with income.. and they have bastardize the processed food with anything they can, by using words to try and cover up the toxicity they put in. There is no more processing food for good nutritional content.

Foreign Countries will take the lead that America once claimed it had. Reality is, America suffers from Mass Debt... it was not the working poor and poor who created that debt... it is the wealthy who have ripped off anything and used every form and manner of corrupt acts to avoid paying taxes, yet these same one chase down government contracts, and then fleece the contract with cost over-runs.

It will meet it crash point. When the dollar is no longer the dominant reserve currency, and as renewable energy come more wide spread... American won't have the Middle East Oil, to prop up the Petro Dollar.

Look back and then look forward... places that had horrific past, have rebuilt themselves, 60 yrs ago China had closed doors and high poverty, Today, China supplies the world, and they have uplifted more than 350-400 Million people out of poverty.
America has thrust 2/3 of its population back into poverty. the same system of racism that was core to the Confederacy, being ruled by Plutocrat's with their brand of Authoritarianism ... kept many poor whites poor and kept black with nothing.

The World realize America can't repay its debt... and they won't continue to live on the fiction of America as a Wealthy Nation.

So, the Cap on Income, if anything should be a Cap placed on Executive Compensation, and they should get no benefits that is not available to the entire workforce, and absolutely "no more stock options". they get no more private corporate paid retreats. Executive should NOT BE paid in the range of 300+ time more than the employees who do the actual work.


Any small business that make and sell "quality products" should not be duped into listing their business on the Stock Market. They loose control and the quality will decline... one has to ask themselves, "is money more important than the quality of the product they created to service the people".

American white people are not going to go do farm work of picking strawberries, lettuce, digging onion's or any of the things they like seeing in the grocery stores for the pittance of pay that is paid to migrant workers, yet, they complain about migrant labor.
The housing industry used foreign labor to build up the housing boom of the 1990's and the quality of material became lower and lower yet, the price of the home increased =GREED!!

Working people forced to buy pre-fab and trailer homes that come on wheels, and place them as "Tornado Magnets" all across the Midwest... because they can't afford a quality built home.

Cattle Ranchers with sick cows and other livestock... Do you think they will "sell that meat in the wealth communities?, then you have to ask yourself 'which communities is it being sent to".

America is wasteful and greed promoted by pencil pushing paper shuffler... where over expansion is a sham, which is why we see so much "liquidated products fueling the expansion of "$1 stores".. all so they can dupe stock holder... when the whole point of the stock market now is based on pure speculative gambling's, it has nothing to do with actual product and actual sales. They liquidate and tell the share holders, that the divide have been reduced for the period, because they liquidated the excess stock they bought as a fiction, and unload it for nickel's on the dollar. They know the average American does not have the intellectual knowledge to see though the smoke and mirror games.

The Pandemic exposed it all, when America couldn't' produce PPE and now it can't even provide Testing, yet want to send working poor families kids back to school.

And poor whites often want to deny because they can't face the truth that their white skin does not do what they think it does for them, when it comes to well to do and wealthy whites. some fear it because they think one day they can join the ranks of the well to do and wealthy, but deep down they know they will always been seen by the many terms wealthy whites have created to separate themselves from poor whites... such as "New Money", "White Trash" and many many ways and names they have crafted over centuries to keep distance from poor whites.

Well to do and wealthy white have done everything to widen the gap between their money and the money of poor whites to ensure they cannot cross the line and think they can be equal.

So.. they stagnate pay, and convince poor whites to accept it, they bust unions and convince poor whites to accept it and even promote and fight against Unions. They told poor whites, that Americans can't compete with foreign countries, and poor whites began to sing that chant, unaware they were cutting their own throats in the process, but all they could think of was trying to get acceptance from well to do and wealthy whites... All the white well to do and wealthy whites went from having $100's of Thousands, to having $10's of million to $100's of million and now double digit $Billion as an assurance that poor whites will never bridge that gap. They trained poor whites via media and every other means to blame everyone and everything on minorities and any other thing they can blame it on, to keep them from being aware that it is the well to do and wealthy who created and promote the bridge they can't cross when it comes to monetary and economy parity.

The back history is, these people came from long ago history as being serf's, peasants, and all such types, who worshiped the wealthy, and they have been training their offspring to do the same for centuries and generations, the wealthy promoted the usage of racism to ensure these people would fight incessantly to protect the wealthy. but they don't only fight people of color, they have been trained to fight each other as well. We see that in the Republican Confederacy System of Today... where they have no concern for the working poor and the dire poor, only for Corporation and Industry and trying to prevent the wealthy from paying taxes, because they don't want those taxes to create programs that help the working poor and dire poor.
