I met a Texan at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville PA last summer who was wearing a MAGA hat. I said nice hat, but that my wife won't let me get one, for fear I'll get in a fight with a deranged Democrat. He said: "Not to worry, there are many of you out there." I've been smiling ever since! Observing the "message". Probably every bullet point in the OP is true to an extent. But probably has about one twentieth the impact that he is claiming.

Bernie Bros due to forcing Bernie out of the race for a 2nd time, & forcing all the other candidates to get behind Joe.

Big City Law enforcement by defunding police, Not allowing police to use riot repelling gear & methods.

Latino's by not working with Republicans to come up with a sound legal immigration plan, and allowing sanctuary cities for illegals, after so many other came here legally.

Independents who want the Democrats to work with Republicans to fix healthcare, safely re-open schools, & end the wreckless spending.

Labor Unions due to failure to insure proper Pension funding, & declining membership due to exporting manufacturing jobs to China & Mexico (NAFTA).

The Democrat coalition is in a shambles, & even though many in these groups dislike President Trump, they dislike today's radical, liberal, socialist-leaning, Democrat party even more.
I agree, the far left extremists need to form their own party. As do republicans. The Bush family is on better terms with the Democrats these days.

Why do republicans hate the unions so much?

The Democrat Party is ...

Dream on, politics has always been coalition based. The Democratic Party has been building coalitions it's entire history, literally since the days of Thomas Jefferson, the Republicans as well in their own time.

Now if we had a parliamentary democracy the nation could have multiple smaller parties, each more focused, and the coalitions would be built in the formation of governments and last as long as those governments do. It's a very flexible model, more dynamic and less stable.

But we don't have that system, so we get these rather large political parties with compromises and trade-offs 'baked in the cake' within the party. This is why so many people are frustrated with party leaderships, the average party member (or loyalist) could agree with a political party's position perhaps 60 to 80 percent of the time, some perhaps 90 percent ... but rarely 100 percent.

For the Democrats the coalition usually includes the AFL-CIO, for Republicans the coalition usually includes the Chamber of Commerce. Starting from that point, everyone else is trying to leverage their own cause by building alliances with like-minded individuals and groups. They are linked together like a chain, or the knots in a net.

This is why, for example, there are a few libertarians in Congress (House and Senate) who run as Republicans. They could be their own party (in fact there is one by that name), but such a party would be too small to have a serious impact on national policy (many individual possible candidates might have trouble getting enough signatures to get on the ballot without the help of the larger party structure), so they declare themselves Republicans and have a seat at that table. From there they can influence the party by threatening to withhold support, they can make deals (you support my bill and I'll support yours ... if you don't I won't) and thus influence the country. As a third party they would not have that much influence.

The same is true of other groups in either party.

The larger the political party the more internal stresses there are. We can see that throughout history and also outside of our own republic.

This must be the comedy forum, Republicans too embarrassed to admit their shortcomings and that Trump is diligently working overtime to steal the election. Plus the fact that he's the catalyst for all the problems in the US today.

It is a fake scenario but why would anyone try to refute your wing-nut wet dream? It keeps you busy in Trump fantasy land. Go ahead and talk about it in your bubble if it makes you feel good. You are projecting the fatal flaws that you see in the GOP on the Democrats. That doesn’t work.
