Gulf States May End Dollar Pegs, Kuwait Minister Says
Bloomberg.com: Middle East

Wow, we sure will have a lot of countries to invade. At least, unlike the Soviet Union, we'll have depleted our military stockpile by the time our country goes bankrupt and transitions to the next form of government. Unlike their AK-47 counterparts, we won't have to worry as much about M-16s going to Africa.

The Vietnamese didn't beat us. We did by being in the wrong war from the very beginning. It applies to Iraq and will apply to Iran.

The militarists and war profiteers will never stop sucking on the taxpayers’ dollars until national bankruptcy forces them to feed themselves by producing something useful. This misallocation of resources is the real war crime.

amen

War without real sacrifice at home = bankruptcy

Or, as I like to call it: Emboldening Al-Qaeda vis-a-vis Chapter 11.

Wasn't the dong increasing massively against the dollar until just a couple of weeks ago?

Nevertheless, that'll teach the Vietnamese for opening up the can of whoop-ass on us during the 60's/70's.
LOL. Yeah, right. That's why they're still using "night soil" for fertilizer, and sewing Nike tongues for pennies a day.

There's no way that the US would invade Iran. Not with troops spread thin as it it. What's highly likey are cruise missile attacks and bombing runs. Its risk free and gets the job done.

LOL, oh, common sense of course - how could I be so silly to expect a link, or something aside from common sense?
