just proves how stupid and easily convincible the general population is
How can super healthy 25 year olds worry about something that is only a significant risk to 70-90 year olds with severe health problems? you have 1,000 times the odds of dying from a car crash than you do from dying from covid as a pro athlete
is this like a giant experiment in how stupid the general population is?
The NFL players will be brain dead by 40 no matter what. I have no idea why a virus scares them. Either bullets, drugs or brain trauma is what should be on their minds.
When you're a professional athlete covid doesn't have to kill you to end your career. If you are left with diminished lung capacity, it can make the difference between a 4.3 40 and separation from safeties and a 4.8 and not playing in the NFL.

Tell it to ERod, from the Red Sox, who now has heart problems, from covid.
Young people have died from Covid-19, irreparable damage to the lungs can be a result of the virus, and we've already seen how quickly it can spread among team members - but there will always be people whining because they can't watch the game.
I don't have a problem with athletes being cautious about Covid risks. I don't understand why anyone would.
