Most of the longtime rioters, looters etc. have been doing it after months or years of hearing, not only from local people, but even from their putative leaders, saying it was an acceptable way to air their grievances.
In case you were wondering some of those leaders are, here's one. She expressed her feeligs on MSNBC where, of course, she could be sure she would not encounter sharp questioning or even disapproval, as long as she toed the Democrat line.
Might be worth remembering on Nov. 3.

There should be “unrest in the streets” over President Trump and his political allies turning a "deaf ear" to Americans' concerns, including those about the "dismantling" of the U.S. Postal Service -- which amounts to voter suppression, U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., said Friday.
Conservatives on Twitter quickly condemned Pressley's remarks as "unhinged," "horrible" and "disgusting."
Pressley made her remarks Saturday on MSNBC's "AM Joy."
There's been unrest for months now. A lot of Americans just want to see it go away. Some are angry that Trump has not crushed these protests. He's already vilified and called a dictator by the left no matter what he does. What's the worst that could happen? They will call him a dictator, again?
At the end of the day, it's none of my business if people want to protest and destroy their own communities. I have no interest or desire in stopping them, as this is a free country and the will of the people shall prevail. But you would think, for one second, these folks would stop and look at what they are doing, and the impact it is having on their communities. They look like third world cities in many cases. At the end of the day, they have no one to blame for that but themselves. But like everything else bad that happens, they have the nerve to look people straight in the eye and say, "Trump did that!". That takes a special kind of stupid, but there are in fact people that stupid living in America, and they are usually the loudest of the bunch.

Kinda seemed like they knew well in advance and were primed for it. That's why even the slightest hint of investigating Biden for any sort of criminal wrongdoing became grounds for impeachment. I think the Dems know that Pedo Joe is seriously dirty and corrupt. They know that any serious attempt to investigate him will find a whole lot of shady and illegal stuff. They're so terrified of Biden ever being investigated for absolutely anything, there is literally nothing they won't do to stop it.

That's all a "far right fairytale" accord to the left. All of it. Anything you saw bad about Biden, it's all made up "far right" talking points. End of discussion. Not even up for debate. And that video of Biden talking about his hairy legs... Never happened. You just imagined it.
