Oh, they found fraudulent ballots and did not count them? Seems like the system is working just fine! The same way we don't ban all credit cards because a few people found a way to place fraudulent charges. No, there's a system in place to catch these things.
You know what would be a BIG help? Maybe some funds to help deliver the ballots in a timely fashion to the people that have to check the validity of these ballots to ensure this working system continues to work well. And maybe if election officials need more funds to hire ballot counters for the election, maybe we can get funds for that too. I'm sure we all want a fair election.
But no, instead people would rather keep that excuse in their back pocket in case their guy loses.
The fact that you think there aren't national laws that supersede state laws, tells me all I need to know about you and your credibility, or lack thereof.
Ever heard of the constitution, genius?
Ever read the Constitution yourself? Article 1, Section 4. You might find it enlightening.
And then you can report back to the rest of us with the specific federal law that supersedes the state control of elections to set a national standard for the number of voting booths.
Pretty simple actually. A ballot was mailed out. Somebody filled it out, voted and mailed it in. When they realized that the ballot had been sent out to a dead person, they disqualified the ballot.
So some group of people got ahold of the ballot intended for a dead person and voted illegally.
You know how the saying goes. Vote early. Vote often. Sounds like a there's a lot of people in Michigan doing exactly that.
What happened in Michigan was not voter fraud but an example of the system working the way it's supposed to. Michigan's voter verification processes identified ballots from individuals who had died after submitting their ballot. Election officials did not count these ballots, in line with the state's policies. https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/18/polit...eck/index.html
These voters were alive when they voted by mail but they died prior to election day.
The votes for these dead people didn't get counted. The system was successful. There was no fraud involved because the voters were alive when they cast their vote.
Some of the people here don't want to understand that.
A clear case of voter suppression. Those deceased folks would have surely voted Democrat
But why not Republican? Don't Republicans need all the votes they can get?
