Don't put words in my mouth. You seem to be trying to frame a narrative that will help you feel better about the fact that the Republicans lost the trust of the people in the nation's cities.

Most of the big globalist corporations, the 'blue chip' manufacturing companies, the biggest banks and the venture capitalists have been big supporters of the Republican Party for more than the last 100 years. They are also the same entities that have abandoned the cities and their own employees to life shattering and family breaking tragedy.

Bezos is a libertarian. The only problem between him and Trump starts with Trump. Trump tried to muzzle the newspaper Bezos bought in 2013 and as a true believer in free enterprise Bezos let the paper do what it does best.

This lady STILL does not have any policy proposals we can examine. All she says is 'vote for me, what have you got to lose?', but actually she is running for congress, not for alderman or mayor, so what does she intend to do from Washington? The big cities have had Republicans in charge in the past and they lost that. We have also had many years of Republican Congresses and white houses and still no national policies to help the big cities. Republicans have no intention of helping.

Kim K has been around for awhile doing what she does in reporting around Baltimore...and she has been effective.

I'm just stating that the people in those cities are suffering the consequences of their own stupidity. But like I said, it's their right to choose to live that way in crime- and poverty-ridden Democrat-run hell holes.

So you're glad Bezos, Big Tech, Wall Street, etc., are backing Biden?

Sure she does. You never even bothered to educate yourself.

The biggie is school vouchers. 2/3 of adult Blacks and Hispanics support school vouchers and are disappointed at every turn by Dems that continually prioritize teachers unions over our nation's future, our nation's children.

Quote:
"Pro-voucher voters among racial minorities overwhelmingly support Barack Obama, but they are baffled by the Democratic nominee's opposition to vouchers. They also say they are frustrated that Democratic leaders appear to be more concerned about keeping the peace with teachers unions --which adamantly oppose vouchers-- than about finding alternatives that could advance desperately needed education reforms for minority students.

...Public opinion polls also show solid support for school vouchers among minority parents. Sixty-five percent of adult African-Americans and 63 percent of adult Hispanics favor the use of vouchers, according to a national survey conducted earlier this year under the auspices of the journal Education Next and the Program on Education Policy and Governance at Harvard University. In the survey, more than half of minority adults gave higher marks to their local police than their public schools. "There is no doubt that on this issue, ...Obama has it wrong," Martin wrote."
Obama Questioned on Vouchers

2/3 of Black and Hispanic adults want school vouchers so their kids can escape their abysmal public schools. Obama, our first Black POTUS, was a HUGE disappointment in that regard.

Would take about 8 seconds to say those kind of ideas.
I agree. The next step is to hear specific ideas. That would be a nice change from any politician right now. The dem convention has been a bash Trump party without specifics of how they will help the American people. Nice sounding hominems are useless. Like him or hate him, Trump at least in the last election gave a few specific things he would do and has pretty well stuck to them.

I think if you fix the big picture economic stuff, most of the social stuff works itself out. I wish the Republicans would back off the social stuff a bit more, & focus on jobs & wages, & education/training.

The schools in Kim Klacik's Baltimore are horrendous, as are most inner city schools. I would start there. I like Trumps enterprise zones, but you must protect those businesses at all costs...with police.

They bring jobs to the inner cities. Specific skill training (like welding & CDL truck drivers) will bring higher wages.

I love those shows/movies about the hardazz Principal who takes over a crappy inner city school and makes it the best around. I'm all about that.

It's always the same net result and that is no social programs designed by politicians work. So it's back to the ol' Hail Mary desperation at the end of the football game which is "just give me free stuff."

We are seeing this materialize more than ever these days:

1. Students wanted their college loans forgiven
2. Minorities asking for reparations.
3. Heck there is even a thread on here about women wanting reparations.
4. The rise of socialism where lazy young kids want a redistribution of money.

Where are we supposed to get money to fund these demands? To add insult to injury, Dems LOVE these ideas as long as they don't have to pay for it. They are quick to applaud these ideas as long as it's not THEIR income that is redistributed or THEIR income tax increased.

It's a mess!

best schools, job skills training, opportunity zones, higher wage jobs, strict law enforcement (like Rudy & Bernie did in NYC), life skills training.

That would be my pitch if I were Ms. Klacik.

Republicans should take notes...

Great to see @greggutfeld talking about @kimKBaltimore’s ad on The Five:

“The Republican Party and Donald Trump should take a page from Kimberly Klacik”.

I thought the message was very clear: Democrats think you are stupid; Democrats don't care about you or your city; You don't have to vote Democrat.

Two threads.

If Federal govt. was able to change things in Baltimore, Chicago, etc....and Trump hasn't in the last three and a bit years, why would we think he will now.

In fact -- it seems there is more tension, violence, gun deaths etc. Maybe he's not the right guy.

So vote her in -- vote HIM out.
