Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the ICE-run Krome Service Processing Center in Miami, Florida has been serving detainees pre-plated meals that regularly include pork sausage, pork ribs and other dishes containing pork to Muslim detainees. Because the facility’s halal meals have been persistently served spoiled and expired, Krome’s Muslim detainees must choose between eating pork or eating spoiled food.
Quote:
ICE officials at Krome have repeatedly ignored their pleas for edible, religiously compliant food. Outrageously, in response to the detainees’ requests for help, the facility’s chaplain callously said, “It is what it is.”

Consequently, 2-3 times a week, Muslim detainees at Krome are forced to choose between faith and food,” stated the letter.
Truly disgusting what the government is doing to Muslims in these facilities.
We should just probably behead them... like they do.
Yea, that's what my parents taught me too.
Stoop the the same low levels as your adversary.
Don't ever try and be an upstanding, moral person.
Never be better.
The real headline should be the occasional choice between post-dated pre-packaged halal meals or pre-packaged non-halal meals sometimes having pork products.
That won't sell advertising clicks, though, and won't drive the festering hate-machine the media is trying to drum up.
The solution is as simple as fixing the halal meal package date problem. That's a boring news story and doesn't rile people up so no wonder that's not what the media is choosing to force-feed you.
Also, I do not care, lol. They should not commit the crime.
