Pretty sure this is the same incident where Chris Green was smacked in the head by the statue on its way down. How about just doing things legally and democratically?? A statue can be safely removed without risking the lives of the criminal arsonists ripping it down on their own.
And at some point, somebody really really needs to explain to me why BLM and Antifa tore down the statue of Frederick Douglas. What the hell is that about??? Who the hell is offended by Mr. "I stole myself" former slave??
If people want to remove monuments, thats fine. Do it civillly, lawfully, and democratic manner. You don't do it by mob rules because a mob doesn't represent the whole city or state.
This is no different than a mob of white man wanted to kill a black man for raping or killing a white person before and during Civil Right era. I think we called it a "lynch mob"
