LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers sent a message with their pre-game outfits on Tuesday ahead of the opening game of their first-round playoff series against the Portland Trail Blazers.
On their way to the arena, James and his teammates wore altered versions of the red "Make America Great Again" hats that President Donald Trump made infamous during his presidential campaign. On the Lakers' version of the hat, the words "Great Again" were crossed out and replaced with "Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor."
Meh. Guess he is going into politics after the NBA. Still very good at basketball, he is on the downward path and is no longer an entire team like when he literally carried Cleveland for their championship.
I'll give LeBron one piece of credit, he isn't stupid. He knows where his bread is buttered. He isn't going to do anything to jeopardize that sponsor money. I'm sure that's one of the big reasons he stays mum on China and their human rights violations.

This pretty much goes for the majority of celebs and politicians.
If you're more upset about a red hat than the death of Brianna, then there's something wrong.
Side note: I love the 'MAGA' hat that says "Made you look, Black Lives Matter".
If LBJ chooses to wear a hat rather than actually address the people involved and achieve justice - then there's something wrong.
He has the platform to put pressure on the police to get the proper accountability - but that doesn't seem to be the goal. The goal seems to be warfare against Trump supporters, not justice for Ms. Taylor.
