Why are you so dazzled by "prominent?" Do average Americans not count in your reckoning?

I thought Democrats were supposed to be for the little guy, but it seems now they only care about the "big names."

Why would they need to be "prominent" ?

Does their vote count more than anyone else ?

Because they’re real.

Any?

Kasich- a lifelong Republican in a swing state like Ohio.
Powell- a serving DoD Chairman under a Republican president.
The former 'Mad Dog'- breaking away.

An entire armada of former GOP officials supporting break-away groups.

So where are the Democrat defectors? I hear clamor about them- but I don't see them, I don't know them, and I don't see any reflection in the pols.

Where are they?

Gee-wiz Threerun, I'm not sure how to vote if Democrat career politicians don't switch parties to endorse Trump.

Maybe an aging rocker or washed up movie star will help me sort it all out.

I would hate to have to depend on a sports figure to do my thinking for me.

Those guys can't string two coherent sentences together.

Guess I'll have to decide for myself without anyone famous deciding for me.

To the left it does, which is why they continue to drag out celebs like Beyonce and Jay-Z to tell the masses how to vote. We saw how much they helped them in 2016.

It's an insight into the mind of the left. The appeal to authority fallacy is just another element of them outsourcing cognition.

If you're unclear, there's close to 400,000 Democrat defectors right there.

You're welcome.
Sure there is.

You should fire whoever is providing your talking points memo.

Anyway, it isn't safe for high profile Dems to reject their party. They will be personally and professionally shunned, at best! Conservatives just live and let live.
If you untangle your cognitive dissonance you can go count ALL the Republican defectors (high profile) yourself. It is quite a large number.

I only put some illustrations on the canvas.

It's crazy how much the WalkAway group has grown in just the last few months. It hovered at 200k for the longest time. I've read a lot of their newer democrat members testimonials and many of them are p*ssed about all of the rioting, looting, and burning down their cities while their democrat leaders do nothing. Then there's the calls to defund the police, defund boarder patrol, defund the prison system, etc.

Mattis has never been a Republican. When Trump called him “My Democrat” or whatever, General Mattis said that he has never registered for any party, and that he was politically neutral.

So now that he has endorsed Biden, I don’t think you can fairly say General Mattis walked away from the Republican Party. He was never in it. I guess he is a Democrat now. So Trump could call him “My former Democrat” and he’d be technically correct now,
Well then I respect Mattis even more upon hearing that. I fancy myself as an independent as well. Good Mad Dog, Good Boy.

He sure did lambaste his former boss though. Told it like it is.
