I'm mad as hell at the government of China. I seriously wouldn't mind seeing them erased from the globe. China sucks. However, Chinese Americans are not the problem. I've never known one to be bullied either, but then I live in an area where their contributions are appreciated.
A good place to start would be at the universities where they are systemically discriminated against, forced into schools that teach at a pace far too slow.
A good second place to look at would be in black majority neighborhoods where they routinely intimidate, steal from Asian business owners.
The task force will focus on hate crimes against Asians and persons of Asian descent following outcry from the Asian American community. Crimes targeting Asians in NYC have increased since Trump used racially motivated rhetoric to deflect blame for his mishandling of the pandemic.
Hmmmm.... NYPD? Gee, I wonder whom assaults all the asians in NYC, must be guys wearing maga hats carrying bleach.
Here is one....oooh....cap not red....but I'm sure in you're mind he's white.
And well, what a shocker....they won't release the ethnicities of the people involved in these...clearly CBS is protectin MAGA hat wearing Trump supporters with their discretion.... https://www.cbsnews.com/news/nypd-ma...irus-pandemic/
These all came off the top -end of a google search.
I mean seriously, people racially assaulting asians in NYC and you're trying to blame Trump supporters? Do you work for the Trump campaign, it sure seems like it.

Instead of reflexively regurgitating thoughts that are entirely detached from reality, you should try re-reading what I wrote. Be well.

No they haven't increased to any extent. That's just another lie that the left tells. Overwhelmingly most crimes against Asians are committed by other Asians. Not that you care about the truth or what's important as you falsely play the race card.
"In 2010, nearly half of all Asian Americans lived in the nation’s West, and unsurprisingly, more anti-Asian hate crimes were reported in that region than any other, both in sheer numbers and as a percentage of hate crimes against other groups in the region. "
from an article in April
"Anti-Asian hate crime has been on the decline for at least the past two decades, and the FBI has not reported any anti-Asian-motivated murders since at least 2003."
But as long as we have irresponsible people who don't want to hold those responsible for their actions the deceit will continue.

It’s NYC. I am pretty sure it is not some white dudes in white ropes or MAGA hats attacking Asians.
The perpetrators are most likely some ghetto black dudes
So they just need to be police force that can actually do police work is all.
Waiting for Fung Bros to come out with vid on this.
