Do you think this will be beneficial to children and their socialization? Not to mention the messed up home situations that some children have to deal with.

You're wrong. Day care is far less kids and spread out in bigger rooms. Calling ALL students back and we'll see what we had with Georgia and the few schools that opened in Arizona. The writing is on the wall and if we want to avoid another explosion in cases and be able to vote in person, we need to keep schools closed.

The schools districts where I live are either doing 100% online or are doing a hybrid model (part online and part in person).

There also seems to be a major increase in people pulling their kids out and homeschooling. I think people area realizing that if they are going to have to be home anyway helping their children with the school’s online learning, which didn’t go so well for many, they might as well pull the plug completely and just homeschool them themselves.

Its’ going to be interesting to see what happens.

Obviously the school is not pushing a particular brand of religion, despite its Jesuit roots.

A local bar in my area is offering space and supervision of virtual learning for a limited number of 3rd graders.

Daily screening, masks and distancing are required. Snacks and lunch are included.

A few districts are requiring teachers and students dress for school even though both are home.

And then there are a few districts that require an adult Be present in the home during virtual class time for elementary grade levels.

And were talking K-12 Public education not colleges; Research & Grants are for goods or services being provided/conducted and it is the individuals choice where they are spending goverment-issued student loans/funding.

No different then "Taxpayer funds" being applied to the NRA or other lobby groups for the purpose of promoting their political agenda.....

30K in property taxes? That doesn’t sound right.

It's right for his home and the county he's in. I have friends who pay more than that in property taxes and they own multiple homes.

Mine are $14K and I'm in a much smaller house than MD is.

Well, there is a solution for that.
