I am just curious as to WHY they tweeted it out? Were they hacked? is it a disgruntled employee? It's not THE FBI it's the records division area...very weird.

Whistle blowers.
A lot of what was planned in protocols is actually happening today, e.g BLM, George Floyd, mass race-related protest in the media, etc.
...The FBI Records Vault Twitter account is run by a bot, which automatically posts new FOIA documents as they are cleared for public release, according to the bureau...
As with most things - having automated, unattended, unintentional processes perform tasks can lead to unintended consequences.

Oh I know. I have read it. I was going to leave my personal beliefs out of it. The one article says that twitter account is run by a bot and puts things out automatically. So that explains that part.
The document is a notorious anti- Semite forgery reportedly created by Czarist Secret Police at the turn of the 20th century and apparently has some historical significance.
I do wonder if people who claim it's a forgery have ever actually read it? That's like saying water is hot or cold without touching it. I am just not the kind of person who takes ANYONE'S word for anything, I read it myself so. I also don't take anything the ADL says as fact or truth. They are a known hate group.

Seems unlikely but possible. I mean, you'd think that the original would be around somewhere if that were the case. But maybe not. Maybe the original never got any real traction so it just went away except for one copy which the Russian propagandists found somewhere and forget with extra salaciousness. The "forgery" certainly got around though, maybe just better advertising, maybe just resonated more with the anti-Semitic audience it reached.

Dunno, never read it. Does it actually claim to be written by the Jewish Cabal, that might be "literary forgery" which really isn't forgery anyway although English is a fluid language. Fabrication, sure, forgery harder sell. If I wrote science fiction book and attempted to boost my sales by claiming that I was David Weber, that would be literary forgery. Definition gets very stretched though. For example, we know, or at least have a good idea, who actually wrote some of the later biblical passages. I don't know that i'd call them forgeries though. Some do, but bit of a stretch.
Harry Potter isn't written by J.K. Rowling. No such person actually exists, that was just a pseudonym to inflate sales numbers, which mean it is a literary forgery as it is often used. Most of the people here don't post under their own names, everything is a forgery if you make a ridiculously loose definition of it.
