The alternative view is that Trump can also be a longer term benefit to the Chinese interests because he has picked fights with other industrialized countries, withdrawn or scaled back the USA from international forums to the extent that Western countries are less able to unite or ally together to block Chinese moves internationally. Like in the WHO, UN, IMF, World Bank, and the TPP.

He's also incompetant, amoral, with a short attention span, and can be bought off with flattery and short term transactions that benefit him and his family.

Biden might be more saner for the Chinese to deal with, but he's also likely to better able to coordinate moves with Germany, France, Canada, and Japan to counter Chinese initiatives on IP, regional rights, trade, technology and the like. He's unlikely to undercut his cabinet officials on China directed policy, like Trump does with Robert Lightheizer, the US Trade Representative - who is the most experienced and competant official in the Trump Administration - runs circles around yahoos like Peter Navarro.

In any case, this isn't China's call.

Of course he would be smoother to deal with. It's pretty easy to deal with someone who can't remember his own name half the time in any way you like. You can say anything you like and suggest anything you like and all you'll get is a blank stare. Smooth indeed.

I am terrified of a reality where China has more controls of the US. The CCP is smart to avoid a conventional war with the US. Instead, they use unconventional tactics through the media, culture, psychology, economic, virus, debt trap, etc. In the book, Unrestricted Warfare, CCP party members outlines such strategies against the USA.

From where I sit they had been winning until Trump came along. He is the first US President who dared to call them out on unfair trade practices. They have installed spy centers in universities all over the world and disguised them as Confucius Institutes. They have activated their army of wumao and compromised Americans to attack Trump. And they might just succeed, judging by the riots, media attacks, and brainwashing they did to some Americans. They released a virus that killed many and wiped out the world's economies, but somehow they managed to convince some Americans that the CCP has nothing to do with it and it's all Trump's fault.

Well they don't call him Beijing Biden for nothing.

I'm sure if Joe should win he will welcome China and Iran back into the fold and probably pull an Obama with them and bow to them while making apologies for America.

I can hear Joe now "We are back baby and my boy is looking for a job..."

Translation... China needs Biden in the white house if they ever want to bend America over again.
