No cop shortage? (county, work, cities, sheriff)

This is a FB post from the Tehama County Sheriff. He is telling the citizens that there will be calls they will no longer come to. Why? Despite the academies being full, no one wants to work in a low paying rural county.
So all the cops leaving the cities (supposedly) it looks like their potions will be snapped up by cops willing to leave for better pay. Tehema went 65% for trump, so I don't think the face much disrespect and BLM stuff.

Did you read what they are proposing to cut????? It is all stuff the police in the last three places I have lived don’t do. It is also includes stuff they shouldn’t be doing in the first place - such as visiting a home and talking to a teenager who isn’t obeying his parents.
