Planned Parenthood Quietly Stops Distributing Margaret Sanger Award

The document acknowledges her association with the eugenics movement, but claims eugenics “was a theory accepted by most American scientists and physicians.” It also acknowledges Sanger’s speech to a meeting of the Ku Klux Klan, which Sanger referenced in her own autobiography.

Angela Franks, author of Margaret Sanger's Eugenic Legacy: The Control of Female Fertility, told the Register that Sanger saw birth control as the key means of equality for women, but also the key to population control.

Sanger’s worldview, Franks said, could be summarized by the phrase “quality not quantity.”

“Eugenicists often connected poverty with genetic problems,” Franks said. “So she believed that if you eliminated the poor, then there would be no more poverty. Instead of eliminating the problem, she would eliminate the people who had the problem.”

Franks said Planned Parenthood’s admission that Sanger has a “racist legacy” is accurate.

Although they are hiding their history, their mission continues forward.
Interesting. Thanks for the post. It is not surprising. The democrats (and non political) that I have argued about abortion with ALWAYS use the argument that it is better to kill a baby that will eventually be a welfare baby. It is cheaper to abort than to support them. This is their argument 100% of the time. Shameful!

You can change a name, but you can't hide the namesake's founding principle of Eugenics infused into the organization. Planned Parenthood is actively engaged in attenuating black population growth under the banner of healthcare.

It's an idiotic argument.
In this case the use of the word violent is subjective. A violent crime committed against someone is just that a crime. It is in no way the same as an abortion. Abortion is legal. Abortions are a fact, a medical procedure.
The idea it’s murder because it’s a developing fetus is idiotic. To consider abortion violent or murder is subjective based on your own moral values. Your morals don’t make it fact. Again live your life as you wish. All others will do the same.

The way some people talk one would think she single handedly dragged in pregnant black women and forced them to have abortions.

So you would be OK with rape if it were legal?

You are flip flopping between 2 arguments that have no merit to avoid answering the question.

So answer the question:

If rape were legal, would you support a man's right to legally rape others? Yes or No

Rape is not legal and never will be so your question is meaningless.

Asked and answered twice now. Not my problem you can’t comprehend the answer.

Really? So only men can rape?

See https://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/rape

"As of the early 2000s, all states define rape without reference to the sex of the victim and the perpetrator. Though the overwhelming majority of rape victims are women, a woman may be convicted of raping a man, a man may be convicted of raping a man, and a woman may be convicted of raping another woman."

(My emphasis - more @ the URL)

So apparently, rape would be an equal-opportunity crime.
