Not worried at all. It would only be mandated if it was absolutely necessary, and if it was absolutely necessary, I am for it. It's about time we had some real honest to goodness proactive leadership in this country.

BTW, I hate the damned things.
Thank you for a common sense reply.

IL already has a state mandate, so I'm used to wearing one when I'm out in stores, etc.

At home? Nobody is going to dictate what I do in my own house, so no, not worried about that either.

Who else is worried that if the democrats win, we'll be wearing masks forever? And when I say "forever", I mean just way too long
How long is too long? What's another 6 health months too long compared to 30 days on a ventilator in agony with every breath?

No one is going to blindly follow any mandate. There's simply no way to enforce a total indoor-outdoor mask mandate.

But know which choice I prefer. Wearing a mask is nothing at all, whenever or wherever it's needed than to spend 30 days on a ventilator. Nothing at all. I would wear 3 at a time if that's what it took to stay out of the hospital and stay healthy.

It’s called pandering in election season. All politicians, regardless of stripes, do it.

I have no issue wearing a mask to protect others from my respiratory droplets when in close proximity.

Such a minor inconvenience.

I have no issue with others wearing a mask if they think they might get infected.

Yepp. Millions of surgeons pass out in operating theaters every year from lack of oxygen, from what I hear.
