Well, where live we dont measure miles we measure time. 40 miles is about a 20 minute drive. But of course that NV roads. Dont know what WI roads are like. Just saying.
I'm not surprised that this happened. Part of me has a big soft spot for Wisconsin. It is where my father is from. At the same time, there are some sad facts to admit. Wisconsin's Black homicide rate is among the highest in the USA. Wisconsin has one of the highest rates of imprisonment for Blacks. In addition, one of the highest Black/White gaps for imprisonment. Wisconsin, and more specifically, Milwaukee, has one of the poorest Black populations in the USA. Milwaukee is one of the most segregated, likely the most segregated, metropolitan areas in the USA. At least in Chicago, there is a decent size Black middle class and more suburbanization. Wisconsin is also experiencing a Black Brain Drain. More college-educated Blacks are leaving Wisconsin relative to college-educated Blacks in other states. Wisconsin is literally known as one of the worst states for Black people.
This occurred in 1989. A group of Black males beat. First part of the article.

The incident occurred in October 1989 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. About 10 black youngsters gathered at an apartment complex after going to the movie "Mississippi Burning." They were upset by a scene in which a white man beats a black boy who is praying.
Mitchell was then 19. He put a question to the boys: "Do you feel all hyped up to move on some white people?" At that moment, 14-year-old Gregory Riddick, a white youth, approached the complex on the other side of the street. Mitchell said: "You all want to [mess] somebody up? There goes a white boy. Go get him!" The black boys raced across the street, beat the 14-year-old into a coma, stole his "British Knights" tennis shoes and fled. Young Riddick's brain damage may be permanent.
Cops don't need to speculate, if they think he's reaching for a gun, and ignoring commands to not reach into the vehicle. That's a threat on the cop's life and it's worthy of a justified shooting. Hindsight is 2020.
This garbage will just continue until November 4th. Then there will be change.
