You're projecting your liberal nonsense on others. The Dems notion that the end justifies the means is blatantly anti-American. Hell, it's anti-human.
Personally I have no problem with Eric taking the 5th. Nobody should talk to cops or prosecutors if they are accused of a crime. Hire a lawyer and shut your mouth.

I am absolutely certain most the the posters on this forum would say if a cop wants to look in your car, and you don't comply, it's your fault if they shoot you. There is literally a thread on the front page arguing that people shot by cops deserved it for not complying.

Funny.

We are talking about the family that demanded Obama produce his birth certificate how many times based on that same exact principle of “if you have nothing to hide.”
Also the same family that encouraged people to chant “lock her up.”
Trumpie’s tweets regarding exactly this issue stand for themselves.

Why should they now be accorded any sort of consideration that they didn’t believe was appropriate for others?

I don’t care if anyone pleads the 5th.
I do care if someone believes that only s/he is entitled to do so.

If Trump hadn't already exposed himself as a massive hypocrite on this issue nobody would have cared that his son is invoking his 5th amendment rights. And I haven't seen anyone on this thread questioning Eric Trump's 5th amendment rights. We're just having a little sport mocking this family of swindlers and slimeballs.

Once they got Cohen dead to rights for a couple lifetimes behind bars worth of tax cheating, they asked if he had any information he would like to share about Trump.

And with that, his hundreds of years behind bars became just three.

Cohen would confess to anything implicating Trump if his lawyer thought he could get a light sentence for the personal tax evasion that Cohen did all by himself.

Mueller's office didn't suggest a sentence for Cohen but said any punishment should be served concurrent to the sentence handed down in the tax evasion and campaign finance case.

Obviously the ruling class - the permanent state - doesn't approve of the working classes taking political matters into their own hands.

They will make an example of Trump by destroying him and going after his family.
His family is part of his cabinet and part of his campaign, people keep viewing this as normal to have family members negotiating and meeting with foreign governments so let's stop with the "they are going after his family".

His position is that Trump said, and I will paraphrase in case you are still in your kindergarten "flashback"...

Trump said only guilty people take the 5th. So this isn't really isn't an issue of a whether or not a liberal has ever been guilty and taken the 5th. We know that's true.

You need to find a leftist who has said "only guilty people take the 5th" and then took the 5th. That is the issue here.

And to be fair.... Eric didn't say it so he shouldn't be held accountable for what his dad said.

Watching the Trump followers suddenly embracing the Fifth Amendment as a cornerstone of US constitutional is indeed refreshing.

Look again, the 'liberals' are not under investigation. There is nothing to defend. The 'liberals' are not under investigation here, the Trump Organization is.

Trump supporters are the ones who feel they have to explain why a grand jury has questions the Trump Organization refuses to answer. It's not Trump supporters problem really, the company has nothing to do with them and Eric Trump is not on the ballot, but they feel they must stand up and make excuses for it. Why?

He sure did, but he seems to think that it doesn't apply to his family.
