I enjoyed Kim Klacik, Tim Scott and the speech from the nurse. KG was horrible. She just needs to go away until the botox wears off.

Agree on KG. man she was terrible. I thought the first night was a serious win for the republicans. it was home run after home run and then there was KG. She was just not good at all.

i know this isn't a direct comparison but Trump got a bump out of the Democrat convention. That NEVER happens.

regardless of the success or failure of the Republican convention, the democrats convention was a nightmare.
That one will end up being studied by PolySci departments for years to come.

It was dreadful. That isn't my subjective opinion, that is the objective measurable reality. Ratings were horrible, tone was wrong, focus was "the other guy" and the "bounce" went to the opponent.

Time will tell what this Republican Convention will end up being but after the first night, it appears the Republicans have figured out the tone. we shall see.

The funny thing is, if there had been a rousing crowd there that might have come off better. She had applause lines that would have been impactful. But she was acting. The acting comes off fake.
