There was no reason the police could not have taken the victim by forcing him away from the vehicle and to the ground. Instead the cowards opened fire.
Thank you monday morning quarterback. The dead black man was resisting arrest, ignoring the officer's instructions.
How many times does this scenario have to be repeated before that demographic understands that you do what the cops tell you to do? If you feel you were treated unfairly, take it to the courts. Why is that so difficult to understand? It is the common factor in almost every one of the sensationalized white cop shoots black man incidents.

Why, when ever a black person dies at the hands of police, long before all the facts are taken into account, do some of the residents in these neighborhoods think it is a good idea to destroy public and private property, and in some cases attack innocent people who get in their way? Can anyone give me a rational explanation for why this is always the reaction? Caucasians, Asians and Hispanic's get shot by police also, but those demographics don't destroy their own neighborhoods when it happens.
Do these neighborhoods want cops or not? I have a hard time believing a family in an impoverished neighborhood would feel safer raising their children without cops than with cops. Fight with the cops, chances are you'll get shot, it's not hard people. Take responsibility for your actions and quit using cops as a "cop out" for acting like an idiot.
Since he's still alive, and will likely live, it would be interesting to hear his perspective on this whole thing.
Why didn't he just stop? Since he wasn't apparently at all involved in the domestic situation, he was just trying to get his kids out of there, why did he fight so much? Why did he CONTINUE to fight even when at least two cops had their guns drawn on him?
Is it possible he wanted to be shot? There isn't another logical explanation unless he was high on drugs.
Another fine young man with multiple pending assault charges, including sexual and domestic assault, being unfairly harassed by the police. lol.
