There are multiple stories of older -- mainly black -- voters who just don't have all the 'proper' papers for a myriad of reasons. They aren't able to get that very specific ID and their state doesn't seem to be helping them.
When closing polling stations, making it harder to get very specific ID policies are put in place with no support to help those being inconvenienced, there are consequences and obstacles created for some to vote.
Historically those impacted the most, minority voters who traditionally vote Democrat.
Coincidence? I don't know but any Republican state admin. that wants to make sure it isn't perceived as creating obstacles can offer up some real solutions.
