An open letter was published on the website defense one by former retired Lieutenant Colonel Paul Yingling, and Lieutenant Colonel John Nagl to Current Joint Chief of staff General Milley.
The letter goes though events of the upcoming election where Trump loses but contests that the election was a fraud. Trump will use Home Land Security as he did against protesters as a private military. He would again use them against protesters who will likely protest Trump not leaving office. They are asking General Miley to order the 82nd Airborne division to remove Trump from office by force.
This Scenario reminds me lot of the Last days of the Soviet Union where tanks shelled the Russian white house on 4th of October 1993. While I really doubt this would happen in the US it sure would make a great movie. Trump if he were to lose Senate GOP support they can quickly impeach him remove him.
so two retired LTC's (gotta ask why the only made it to O5) are asking the JCoS for a military coup …..

The ends justify the means. If we knew each other in real life I would say the exact same thing to you. I have no reason to hide my true feelings. The totalitarian leftists are slowly chipping away at our 1st,2nd and 10th amendment rights as it is so why not just get rid of it and start anew while we have an America First president in office. It's called getting ahead of the coming disaster.
Oh well, we will have to just disagree that totalitarian actions are a cure for totalitarianism.

I'm sure if you were to track where their current paychecks are signed it's from some org. or think tank or other business entity that has strong ties to the democratic party.
This is just part of the hype machine in the run-up to the election where they both claim that the other is cheating...mentally ill....blah blah blah blah blah.

Let me get this straight as you might know or not know the constitution states Trump and Pence terms end on January 21 2021. If there is no elected president to replace him the Speaker of the House becomes President of the United States. If Trump is still trying to fight in court what would you do? Dissolve the Constitution and allow Trump to stay in office.

2. we don't know who the speaker of the house will be... the entire house of reps is up for election.... and the congress gets sworn in BEFORE jan 21st
3. both yingling and nagle are both known disgruntled "retired" LTC's..both have "written" scathing stories about the military... Yingling has been scolded by the military a few times because of his bad mouthing of the military... Nagle was president of a left leaning think tank
the only ones that will argue a loss, would be the cry baby liberals, who have been crying for nearly 4 years since the "sure to win" hitlery lost

Sounds like those Colonels violated the military code of conduct which does apply to retired officers. They should be court martialed and reduced in rank.

Trump will contest the election in court I doubt he will attempt to stay past 1/21/2020
You notice that I did not say Nancy Pelosi would become President did I. It's highly likely that Pelosi will be speaker of the house again only 2 years ago the Democrats only needed 23 seats to win a majority yet they were able to win 40 seats. That was the start of my doubt that Trump would be reelected again. Midterm election showing GOP weakness.
