So your new argument is that cops let George Floyd die when he was asking for medical help because they thought "eff him". How is that better?
Man you lefties have a hard time with reality and really like to twist the facts. There is zero logic in your post. Floyd resisted arrest every second of the encounter. If someone is fighting with you while at the same time saying he can’t breath how seriously are you going to take him?! He asked to be placed on the ground.
Have you ever seen someone overdose on Fentanyl? If you had, you wouldn’t soon forget it because it’s horrifying. A well-trained cop knows the signs of opioid overdose and would administer Narcan. All you’re telling us is that an experienced officer demonstrated depraved indifference to Mr. Floyd’s well-being while he was in custody.
This is a good post. I think it’s idiotic how some canonize Floyd, but trashing him in his death and ignoring the cop’s indifference to his well being is just heartless. I don’t have to agree with everything this man did to recognize that the police mishandled this interaction and showed callous disregard for his well being during this interaction.
With the whole video we can put certain things into context and it shows it in a different light, but the point still stands that while Chauvin was kneeling on his neck someone should’ve told him to let up and check on his well being during that time.
If they stick with the fentanyl overdose defense, it will go badly. It’s just not a viable argument. I wrote earlier, and I’ll repeat it now: fentanyl overdose cases are very distinctive and any well-trained cop would recognize one and know to administer Narcan. If they stick with this defense, it will look like a case of depraved indifference. This is not a good time to try that one before a jury.
