So now its ok for a 17 year old to go up in an area and kill people as long as its for "your side"?
No, it isn’t okay. But, it is not surprising it happened. Saying you are not surprised something happened does not mean you condone it, it means you get there is a reason it happened. I was never surprised when students didn’t turn in homework the day after a UK basketball game but I definitely was not okay with it. I also was not okay if they bombed a test the next day because they chose to watch the game instead of study. I did however quickly learn it was in everyone’s best interest to avoid giving a test the day after a big game, which means I figured out how to avoid putting the kids in a position where they would choose to make mistakes that would disproportionately negatively impact them. As someone with the capacity to do so, I mitigated the potential damage. Do you not see a difference? Seriously? Do you nit think it’s important to look into why something negative happened?

De-funding the police just means that things like this will happen more and more often because people are sick of your temper tantrums and if the ineffectual Dems won't allow the police to do their jobs, then the people will do it themselves.

This was a 17 year old who traveled 15 miles with his AR15 for what reason? I personally think he was a misguided kid who threw his life away. He wasn’t there for anything other than the trouble he was looking for.

Anyone with two brain cells to rub together understands that when law breaking, looting, burning, injuring, anarchy goes unpunished and is allowed to flourish, that eventually people will take matters into their own hands.
I'm the wife of a retired cop. A law abiding citizen my whole life. But if danger comes to ME (and the systems that a law abiding nation depend on to keep peace, safety and order fall apart) I will fight back. I will not lay down and cower like a powerless sheep. We're moving in that direction quickly.
We will hear of more and more incidences similar to what happened in WI because those charged with keeping citizens in these cities safe (mayors, governors, law enforcement) are proving every day that they side with disorder, over law and order. They are consciously choosing anarchy over the lives and livelihoods of the citizens they are charged with protecting. And that message will ultimately lead to people recognizing that and fighting back.

This is one of clearest examples of the ridiculousness of the cancel culture I’ve seen.
What’s objectionable about it?
We’ve had how many high school shootings in the last several years?
Any one of those kids could argue that they were “just trying to maintain order” or defend themselves.
This kid was just as deluded and dangerous as every one of those kids that walked into a school with a gun.
He needs to be treated in exactly the same fashion.
