These militia groups have no business bringing automatic rifles to protests that are not about gun rights to protests

It might be legal but it is is clearly escalation in situations where there are protesters and counter protesters

You say that they are there to protect property?

The teenager who lives at home with mom Kyle Rittenhouse was not even from Wisconsin.

If he saw somebody burning a car and said stop but they did it anyway and he shot and killed them, that is murder.

And the people who burned that lot of cars at a dealership they should be locked up too.

Vigilante lynch mobs are only going to escalate the situation.

The title of the thread was: The Problem is PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BRING GUNS TO PROTESTS unless the protest is about Gun Rights

This applies to those who "protest".

Bringing weapons to their little protest? Ridiculous. If you're going out there to march in the streets with your banners, home made signs (allegedly - we all know better), and your bull horns to protest whatever it is you're protesting, why do you need to bring guns or knives or "milk shakes", or batons, or any type of protective gear, if all you're doing is protesting peacefully?

You don't need to have any of those things.

People would be far more willing to listen to those who are PEACEFUL about their cause, who have actual discussions instead of taunting and name calling, who don't block traffic, who don't act like tyrants, and who don't come armed with anything and everything that they can find and conceal in their little backpacks.

You wouldn't wear a mask to conceal your identity. You wouldn't throw things at people, you wouldn't intimidate people, you wouldn't beat people up, you wouldn't harass people, you wouldn't kill people, you wouldn't loot, and you wouldn't burn or tear things down.

None of what the pr*cks are doing is anywhere close to "peaceful protesting". There is no reason at all to carry a rifle or handgun to a peaceful protest. Just carry your sign, do your little march, speak through your bullhorn, and if people want to listen, engage them in rational, logical conversation.

How hard is that?

In my opinion that is escalation and it is going to lead to more killing

especially where there are protesters and counter protesters in the same location.
Well then you better make sure none of those "peaceful Protestors" don't have any pistols, knives or skateboards as that is why people are coming armed. Take away all their water bottles and if they throw anything - they are immediately arrested for assault.

The Civil war shelling of fort Sumter by the confederate army was not a peaceful protest
The walkout from congress due to unfair tax on cotton trade was A peaceful protest
There is a difference

Liberals operate from fear, and they’ve got an entire routine about people supposedly shooting family members and not being able to stop criminals, But people who want to take away your rights under the pretense of safety and security are really just laying the groundwork for tyranny.
In the end, the only form of gun control that works is taking aim before pulling the trigger.

Proponents might want to spend more time thinking about the facts, and less time writing about feelings that won't fix the problem.

But the BLM democrat terrorists can bring whatever weapons they want and burnt/loot/attack anyone and anything?

I think not.

If the local government has abandoned the area and its a free for all, then ANYONE should be able to go in there and do whatever they want.

The situation was already escalated by the terrorists you're defending. People have had enough of the BS. No, they are NOT going to sit back and allow terrorists, that you're defending, to burn their businesses down, loot their businesses, destroy property, beat people, kill people, attempt to intimidate people.

Don't like it? Stop acting like a bunch of Nazi sh*t heels.

And "peaceful protesters" have no business bringing shields, gas masks, protective eye wear, Ak-47's and handguns to a peaceful protest. Why are they suited up for battle ?

Why was he armed ? It wasn't a gun rights protest , am I right ?
