So in that position, you'd have just submitted yourself to being beaten by the mob? I would argue a "reasonable person" would act differently.

I'm a 6'4" and 230lb adult male. I would not have been afraid for my life being pursued by an unarmed 5'3" 160lb man. Thus, use of lethal force would not be reasonable. I probably would have given ol' Mini Me a butt-stroke on the schnoz.

I am 6'1" 190 lbs, Judo blackbelt, Brazilian Jiujitsu brown belt, and served 2 tours in Iraq.
Yet, i am not going to fight that 5'3" pedo especially when his buddies are around.
