okay... a guy robbed a woman in an elevator. He is a scumbag for doing that. Is there anything else to gain from this video and story? Are people defending this guy?
I think most people can agree that robbery is bad and this guy needs to be charged.

You can always find a crime to focus on, but New York's crime rate has plummeted in recent decades. That's something the Rudy glossed over (or didn't understand) when he was talking about the rise in crime. It looks big in terms of percentage because the actual rate is so low.

Crime is coming back, and if you disparage it, you will be called "racist," "privileged," "colonizer," etc. How do I know this? I watched four months of rioting, looting, assault and murder being excused.

No it doesn't bother me. One should always be careful and be aware of their surroundings. I just don't see the point of posting this random video on a politics forum.
