This has been answered over and over again. And there are plenty of videos of Kyle answering it for you. Also, the firearm did not cross state lines. How can you be this involved into the debate and trial and not even have the facts straight ?
Ill be interested to see if other witnesses come forward and support Rittenhouse's claim that they were asked to be there. The owner of that car lot may be denying it so he doesn't look bad.
As you said the police were supportive of Rittenhouse and his group. In the eyes of those police they were not the problem.

Straightforward question and it remains unanswered.
I think it does matter because this was the cornerstone to many who claimed he was asked to be there to protect the car lots. He has no reason to even be there the only reason he is there so he can shoot protestors that is what the jury will conclude. This trial is far from being over Kyle could end up guilty.
Both Brothers who run the car lots said they did not ask them those guys to protect the lots.

All I saw on that video was a brief snippet of the prosecutor questioning one of the brothers.

Yes he was overcharged, seems to be for political reasons. But, as mentioned in previous threads, it's not the first time this DA had gone after someone (a young girl who'd been trafficked for sex) who had killed to defend her life. This DA needs to be fired.

Car lot owner denied ever asking Kyle Rittenhouse, or his group to protect the car lot in court wow not good for the defense. All summer this had become a fact on social media.
Who is this tool on the stand right now ? He stated that Kyle "re racked" the firearm. I'm calling total BS on this, and it should be able to be confirmed. Had Kyle did that, there would have been an unspent round ejected.
I think this was the guy that was found later to have stated he wish he had killed Rittenhouse on social media.
There seems to be zero grounds for murder against Kyle Rittenhouse.
The prosecution itself already had 2 of their own witnesses say that Kyle (1) acted in self-defense and (2) was not aggressive/was trying to deescalate situations.
Did the government just charge him with murder to placate the leftist mobs that would riot and commit insurrection otherwise?
The trial is in cold months as well so when they know he gets off on the murder charge that will also reduce rioters.
Meanwhile the judge blasted the media including CNN twice for false or misleading statements. But now the propaganda media doesn't seem interested in the trial now that prosecution witnesses are literally saying Kyle Rittenhouse acted in self-defense.
It seems to me, any attempt to let him off is what is "placating". Honestly, if we are afraid to prosecute murderers because lawless people will riot, then we've already lost our nation.
It goes for Rittenhaus and also (I might add) to any rioters in Portland or anywhere else. The comment stands for all sides. It especially stands for those who tried to support Trump's overthrow of the election process. If we are afraid of Trump and his band of bandits, then we've already lost our country.
