I don't know how many of you are watching the livestream today, but the prosecuting attorney looks like he's trying to throw the thing, or something. It's unreal. I'm no lawyer and haven't had any formal training in it, and even I was catching his mistakes, just before the objections from the opposing attorney - or the judge directly - called him out for it. This is insane.

The defense requested that the trial be dismissed with prejudice. I agree. It's just stupid at this point.

Kyle is testifying, by the way.

After seeing all these videos throughout the trial really puts things into perspective. It is truly saddening that not only this city, but many others allowed things to get to this point. Just unreal.

All I know is that the prosecutor should not be one any more.

People like him are detrimental to the justice system. Q

If you put yourself in harms way it is not self defense.

The men killed did not try to break into Rittenhouse home. Rittenhouse went to them. He went looking for trouble.
If a girl wears a short skirt into a bar and leaves alone late at night it is not rape? She put herself in harms way.
I agree he should not have been there playing police but that doesn't change it appears he shot in self defence and then after being persued did it again.

No he didn't. He was already there due to his job, and, due to his helping the community by scrubbing graffiti off of the walls.

That is not how self defense works.

Why are you thinking the only time you can protect yourself is in your home?
Quote:
Your line of thinking goes along with George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman followed Martin then confronted him despite 911 telling him not to then when crap hit the fan he killed the kid.
And, there you go, Martin intentionally confronted him....Kyle did not, he ran from his attackers.

By the same argument someone who wanted you dead could grab a gun pick a fight with you and then when you start punching back pull the trigger. Then plead self defense.
No.

Whatever leftist media or leftist internet forum you're reading, you should stop reading their ignorant tripe.

In a perfect world the prosecutors would be thrown in prison for bullying and terrorizing a kid - and as bad, wasting all our tax dollars on this farce when dozens of arsonists and anarchists are roaming free.

So you can grab a gun get in a car look for people to confront and argue self defense.

The need for Rittenhouse to defend himself is entirely dependent on his decisions to place himself in harms way.

You are arguing for such an expansion of self defense that it is a slippery slope.

If this argument is accepted then you have created a very easy path for premeditated murder.

No you can't. And KR did not do that either.

Binger is starting to get better, but I think he's already doomed his prosecution with his misconduct.

Thank you for your analogy!

To expand on that:

An underage girl goes to a club, drinks some alcohol, and ultimately kills a guy whom is in the act of trying to kidnap/rape her. According to the poster you quoted, she should be convicted of murder because she should not have been there ...

Such lunacy.
