So your point is that it's a half hour drive, rather than a ten minute drive.
That sure makes all the difference.

As Tucker Carlson noted, Rosenbaum (one of the deceased) was a convicted child predator who tried to touch the wrong minor in this instance.

I know plenty of people who commutes 1.5 - 2 hours to get to work in the city, lol.

Big deal.

It's not like he got bussed in from out of town like many 'protesters' for other protests around the Country that whole year.

Funny, I saw real tears. Stop listening to MSDNC. I watched it in real time and the real-time press reported accordingly. This after the fact mess has no real impact on matters.

Wonder if he wasn't supposed to be within a certain distance of a minor...if so, that should have been brought up.

Yeah, he did in fact "cross a state line."
But from his home in Antioch to his workplace in Kenosha is a ten minute drive.
They make is sound like he traveled cross country to seek trouble.
yeah, i never understand about the obsession "he crossed state lines" either.

But I guess in the mind of letfist, if you are an American and you cross state line in United States of America = bad

If you are an illegal and you cross an international border crossing = $425,000 reward money

i see your location says NYC.

I'm sure there are plenty of people live in NJ and drive or take the train to NYC for work.

I think initially there was a question of whether he had the rifle with him. If so, I *think* I read that would have been a violation of Illinois state law, hence the discussion about the state line.

My memory's a little fuzzy, though.

Rittenhouse left his own home with a black rifle. He had to be aware that there was the strong possibility that that rifle would kill someone. How could he not be aware of that? He put himself into the position where he would be chased, probably by some people that wanted the rifle. If he hadn't been carrying it, he probably would not have been chased. It's a sad, cautionary tale all around, but he should have listened to Johnny Cash about taking guns to town.
