They will wait to see what the GOP does to replace Trump first and then follow that game plan. It's just as likely that will happen.

I see many people are unfamiliar with the concept of a "convention bounce." Google it, it may be enlightening
Having said that, EVERYONE has said all along that Biden's lead in the polls would decrease because it is the normal thing for polls to tighten as it gets closer to election day.
This is all Politics 101, not some indication of a surge by Trump
Biden didn't really get a convention bounce. In fact, many people have noted how little polling came out after the DNC convention. The lack of polling after the DNC convention really suggests that the polling was pretty bad, and they elected not to publish the polling.
I've said from the beginning that Hillary is going to come in through the back door, one way or another...
