Why do people keep trying to compare Canada to the US?? There are more people in the single state of California than there are in the entire country of Canada. It's apples and oranges. It's like comparing how many cases in NH to how many there are in Florida.

The vast majority, over 80 percent, of Canadians live in cities as dense as those in the US, so a comparison can be made.

America is America. It's people are unique and stubborn. What worked in China with total lock downs where you were not allowed out for anything would not fly here. I have relatives in Ireland and they were not allowed to go outside their town and that was only to go to the food store. The Police were out, pulling people over and checking if you were too many miles outside your allowed area. Another relative that lives in Dubai happened to be outside the country when the lock downs happened and he was not allowed to return for months. Luckily he could work from another country.

The mentality of Americans is so different than the rest of the world. Call it pride, stubbornness, stupidity or just that we don't like being told what to do but we could not be locked down like other countries were.

Heck the animals are attacking and killing cops. Would they listen to the Police to get back in their homes so they don't catch the virus?

Apparently, the English language skills of CTV are so poor, they don't understand the meaning of "compare."
