Should America live? I'm not a democrat by any means, but I've been praying for the death of the Roman Empire every day for the last ten years. This is the first year where there is a possibility of my dream coming true.
Civil War? Not even close. Just some wing nuts going at it. Just remember these groups don't represent the majority. If you take away the hateful bile from DJT, then things return to normal.
Try to remember what initiated the protests and subsequent violence in the first place: incidents of black men being killed at the hands of police. Whether or not you think those killings were justified, the protesters do not and they are unlikely to stop until that issue is addressed. It really had nothing to do with Trump, except that he has done nothing to address the issue and instead tends to respond with force. When in history have you seen a popular protest movement successfully and permanently put down by force?
If Trump wins, then nothing has changed and protests will continue about as much as now. If Biden wins, he will announce a raft of police reform actions and the protesters will go home. The real civil war threat is if one candidate is declared the winner and the other side is convinced that the election was a fraud.
That's pretty much a given at this point, unless it's such a landslide as to be an absolute mandate.
Even then there would be diehard fanatic communists from the left, that will rabble rouse, and riot. From the right, if the situation is reversed, I doubt the same reaction would occur. The right would likely just pray for a chance to actually vote in a free, unrigged electoral manner in another four years.

Think about what you've just stated there. So, let's just go along with what you've said, and Trump does say hateful things (which I completely disagree with) , so what ? Or perhaps a 57 yo bodybuilder and Nightclub bouncer and whose van was covered with political propaganda and let us not forget a fervent Trump supporter who mailed pipe bombs to numerous Trump critics.
And honestly - just look at the insane antiscience, anti mask, anticovid, antireporting rhetoric on this board alone for plenty of examples of adults who seem overly impressionable when otherwise sound health policy seems to get mixed up in politics.

So when Biden supporters of BLM/Antifa wanders around burning and looting its okay but when a right wing protest is peaceful its predictably bad?
Seems it was reported that man with a BLM tat on his neck shot and killed a Trump supporter and the Biden BLM/Antifa crowd went wild...'We got one' and 'take out the trash'. Do you subscript to that behavior?
I think Portland is the start of another great Civil War, this time between the liberal leftist BLM people and the extremist right Trump supporters. Trump winning reelection by hook or crook will be the catalyst that sends the leftists over the edge. Millions will pour into the streets to riot. The professional looters who couldn't care less who won will mix in and then do what they do best--smash and grab. It will get so bad that Trumper 2nd Amendment gun owners will start patrolling the streets in the F-310's with Trump's blessing like we saw the other night. Rioting, mayhem, looting, shooting and deaths will punctuate Trump's first year in office. He'll probably suspend Posse Comitatus and send in the armed forces to quell violence but that will only add fuel to the fire.

Yeah, but look what happen when mentally deficient left-wingers get their hands on guns. The black militia threatening people at Stone Mountain (IIRC) are a great example. One of those losers has a negligent discharge and strikes, what, 3 of his comrades? And then of course you've got the example where a Pantifa hero tried to shoot an innocent bystander that was in a car-he managed to drop 2 of his comrades. To say nothing of the "BLM Crowd" slaughtering each other on the streets of Chicago every weekend. At this rate, the most effective way to control Pantifa is to just let them kill each other.
