I felt bad about the Floyd thing, but the BLM seems more like a terrorist organization and I am arming myself much more now and very careful. They are amping people up. Not good.
I’m not really proud of how BLM has changed me this year.
I used to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I used to think “we are all the same inside.” I tried to teach my children not to judge anyone by their outward appearance. My sons’s favorite teacher and one of his best friends is black.
I am different now.
I look at everyone more suspiciously. I would rather be around only white people. I am uncomfortable now around blacks. I think I will probably say or do the wrong thing even though I don’t mean to. I remember reading on here how black women can’t stand if white women compliment their hair. Apparently, black women think that is racist and/or condescending. I had no idea. I admire some of the curls and ringlets black women do with their hair. I wish my hair could do that. Now I will never again dare to compliment a black woman on her style.
I used to feel compassion for the black community. I used to believe that the police *were* being excessively forceful. Now I have no compassion. All I see is the thievery and the destruction. I have given up hope that this group wants anything better, can be anything different.
Blacks supposedly want to have an honest conversation with America about race. But they only want a one way conversation. I don’t think they are receptive to having a full conversation, and really understanding what some of the other parts of society think.
I don’t go quite that far out, but it’s made my dealings uncomfortable in a weird way. It sucks. BLM sucks. I grew up in a majority-minority area. It was nice, it was calm, and it also made me uncomfortable in a more siloed space. BLM is making us more siloed and setting back actual, real progress by decades. I’m so frustrated, it’s beyond words. They are fracturing racial relations and making what should be a smooth interaction between different peoples an affair with a lot of friction. I want more interaction, not less. I really love learning from other cultures, but now the people who initially wanted more equality are shutting them off and are “making” me stay in a WASP bubble I don’t even want to be in.

Trying to disguise your organization as a legitimate 'civil rights' organization by posting pictures of civil rights icon and other prominent Black personalities on Instagram and Twitter doesn't hide the fact that BLM is a radical, socialist group that only cares about black lives when it suits their agenda. They've pulled one of the greatest cons in recent American history by having corporations and CEO's kiss their butts and donate millions to their coffers.
I do think many of us have concerns about police brutality, but not when the 'brutality' was in response to violent resistance of arrest by these suspects.

98% agree. I think Floyd is the most free and clear example of “WTF is this cop doing?!”, and is the perfect vector for amping all of this up.
BLM also chose to focus just on brutality, and not on the vast ways that our criminal justice system sucks. And in the process, true believers are getting set back decades by BLM idiocy. I wish they had stayed closer to their roots.
I realized what they were when Obama was still in office and they were chanting 'Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em up like bacon' and five Dallas police officers were killed with nary a peep from BLM.
The message that police reform is needed is important, but BLM is not an organization I'll ever support.
Of course some Police Reform is important, Reform in many areas of Government is important.
Let’s NOT fotget that Senator Tim Scott worked hard on a Police Reform Bill and Kamala Harris would not allow it to even come to the Floor. Scott said he welcomed Amendments .... that ONE action by Harris exposed the LIE that Democrats want Police Reform OR care anything at all about the Black Community.
BLM is a Political Scam, the Dem Leftists are using Blacks as Cannon Fodder in their quest for Power. This is ALL Political, due to the Election. For some odd reason, the Democrats think Burning, Looting & Riots in a way to win in 2020.

Then I ask you, if blacks don’t agree with the BLM agenda or strategy, where are the black leaders speaking out against BLM? Political figures like Obama? All we get is Michelle saying white people are racist because they jumped the line at Haagen Dazs. Sports figures? They are refusing to play because life is so hard making millions playing hoops. Actors or musicians? Silence. They all seem to be perfectly fine with letting BLM be the narrative. Heck, we’ve got Prince Harry moaning about racism in the US, and he is white and not even an American.
Where are the black leaders speaking out against BLM???
If this isn’t what blacks want, why aren’t they shouting that from the rooftops??

After the Floyd killing, I had compassion for what some in the black community were expressing. Unfortunately the lunatics who have taken the lead with BLM have now not only eroded my feelings of compassion and understanding, they have turned my feelings the other way. At this point I want nothing to do with helping in any way and I don't want to give an inch. If they had peaceful protests with reasonable requests, I would have been right there to help. Now after everything I have seen take place this year with BLM and the Democrat leadership, my only goal now is to shut down the left at every level. Good going BLM and lunatic Democrats. I don't think you really wanted any solutions. I think your only goal is eternal turmoil.
These riots have nothing to do with BLM. They are anarchists taking advantage of the situation which of course overrides the peaceful protests. They travel to cities with peaceful protests just to invoke chaos and violence. They are event driven. They don't represent democrats. I don't even think they belong to a political party. They have their own agenda. They believe there should be no laws, no government, no police....no authority at all. This group is considered domestic terrorists by the FBI. They have been around forever. So stop thinking this is about democrats.
