There are hundreds of examples. Simply compare how Tara Reade has been covered vs. Ford, Ramirez and Swetnick.
The latter two were absurd to anybody with a brain. 20 years ago neither would have gotten any coverage, but they were taken very seriously by the MSM. Now Reade has fewer contradictions and substantial corroboration while Ford has lots of contradictions, got caught in several lies (afraid to fly?) and no corroboration even from her close friends. But Reade is ignored and Ford was lionized as a victim.
Sorry for the slow reply, I got distracted with life yesterday and did not get back.
What I see here is that you all can believe in system bias, but you can't believe in systemic racism. The two are not directly related, but the ability to identify them should be similar.
I was hoping to start a dialogue, and I thank those who contributed with serious responses.
My hope would be:
Those that didn't believe there is media bias, can see some examples
Those that don't choose to believe in system racism would use the same mindset to have critical thinking and see that there is.
In both cases, it's not "the only thing" going on, but in both cases, the systemic problems do exist.
About media bias: I have always said it exists. Human nature is biased. One thing I don't get though, is how someone can say that ABC or MSNBC is biased (they are), but fail to see that Fox, Breitbart and InfoWars are biased in the other direction (they are). Of course there is media bias, but if you choose to only focus on the part you don't like, you fail to see the bias toward what you do support.
Same with Systemic racism. I am 100% sure it exists, but I also try to not blind myself to the fact that people can lift themselves above it (with harder work than some), and that there are also good things going on.
I guess my point is that NOTHING is black and white (pardon the pun). Everything has levels of truth.
Just trying to get people thinking outside their comfort zone. I commit to doing the same myself.

If your quick with your TV Remote, switch between CNN, MSDNC, NBC, CBS, & ABC during
weekly Prime time line up. I truly believe an almost per bat-em script is in use. The evidence is clear for all except for the blind, deaf and stupid.

Look at the WH press pool-ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, Washington Post, New York Times-unquestionably far left. Fox-maybe leans right (the news, not talking about talk shows which are far right). That's 7 to 1. There's also AP and Reuters where people can differ on whether they are left or center. AP appears to me to be as far left as ABC/NBC/CBS.
I can't think of a single city whose dominant paper that doesn't have a strong leftward bias. Atlanta, Dallas and Houston do, let alone Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York and DC.
Nobody is limited economically by "systemic racism." Nigerians have higher income and education levels than the national average. Now people are limited by being born into poverty, but that is true for everyone. And most poor people are white. The higher % of poor Blacks is due to our history, but not due to things happening now.
So you are all are saying there is a systemic bias against Republicans? That the cards are intentionally stacked against you?
I used to be a Democrat. I always voted for every Democrat since I was legal to vote. I voted for Obama in 2008. I would never watch Fox. Like just about every liberal I know, I refused to watch it.
But I married a Republican so it was on in our house sometimes. I started watching it along with all the usual MSM I watched. So I saw both. I couldn't believe how manipulated the stories were on the MSM. I literally saw them lie about things I had just seen live. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
