Trump denies having 'mini-strokes'- uh no one said you had? What??
How many mini-stokes are we talking about? Maybe some were not that 'mini'. I remember when he could not even drink water (or something else) from a glass and then struggled to walk down the stairs.
There's new information that has surfaced that demonstrates how the Walter Reed visit was not a 'planned' visit and not what they implied initially (part of a physical).
There's a twitter thread that identifies a number of concerns with the original White House claim at the time.
Actually most older people probably get them once in a while, some are very minor, but the particularly noticeable ones can be scary events.
Trump had a very bad episode of some sort recently that sent him to the hospital, they have been very hush hush about it at the white house, but a stroke would be very high on the list of likely problems for a man his age. Trump has had trouble with pronunciation ... a lot ... which can be caused by small strokes.
This man may have less than ten years left (79 is the average for males currently), and when he goes it could easily be a sudden stroke that takes him out.
Some Trump-hater on the staff of the New York Times published a book saying so. No evidence, no proof, no medical reports, of course, just "I think he did".
Trump denies 'mini-strokes' sent him to Walter Reed
by Brett Samuels - 09/01/20 11:35 AM EDT
President Trump on Tuesday denied that he made an emergency visit to the hospital last year after suffering "a series of mini-strokes" after a new book claimed that Vice President Pence was on standby in the event Trump was incapacitated.
The president's denial raised eyebrows, as the book from New York Times correspondent Michael Schmidt did not specifically state that Trump had suffered from a series of small strokes.
"It never ends! Now they are trying to say that your favorite President, me, went to Walter Reed Medical Center, having suffered a series of mini-strokes. Never happened to THIS candidate — FAKE NEWS," Trump tweeted, before insinuating that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden may have dealt with health issues.
When Trump said "Now they're trying to say..."..... I thought he meant now.
I am not aware of anyone saying that... now.
Except him.
.
This is what he had to say. His tweet was before any media outlet I can find picked up on it or mentioned anything about strokes of any kind. There was absolutely no reason for him to be anywhere near this specific about anything unless he's trying to do preemptive damage control. If he had seen the stories from last year, he would have already attacked them.
He may not even be healthy enough to debate Biden. That's going to be pretty intense and risky for someone with a preexisting condition.
