Yeah, they are not going to bail out a governor and mayor, both of whom sneer at them as hayseeds.

You broke it lady, fix it.

I agree with the sheriffs. No point. Until they start throwing the book at theses terrorists, there's no reason for anyone to be putting their lives on the line.

Let the governor and mayor form a two person line in the street to protect against the riots. That would be no worse than the restrictions they had placed on the police.

And when they make an example of one or two with some real time in a real get ****ed in the ass prison, they won't need any extra cops.

So, the governor wants more cops to come, so they can arrest more people, so the DA can drop more charges?

Ah yes, be careful what you ask for. Because when you get it, it might not be what you wanted after all.

And so more cops can get wounded and killed under the excessively strict rules of engagement that they have in place.

The thinking here is not rational. Like the sheriff's suggested, what is needed here is not more cops, it is a policy change to support law and order, and to reverse the current policy that has effectively turned control of the city over to a rioting Democrat left Marxist led mob.

Ouch. The sherrifs and the sherriff's association is correct, however. Why put your officers at risk of harm in a place that has no respect for the safety of the police, or for the rule of law, and whose leaders appear to be doing all they can to support the rioters and to foment still more violence, property damage and bloodshed in their cities?
They would do better to replace the DA with one from these other towns. The Portland DA is a corrupt loser that caters to criminals. I'm hoping to see the FBI place him under arrest shortly.

I thought these liberal places were going to use social workers rather than law enforcement.

Just awesome that they have refused.
