Vote wisely.
Voting wise, no, it isn't.

People can vote third party, write someone in, or leave the POTUS slot blank.

People should care more about the moral composition of the person they're voting for because the voter's choice reflects upon the voter

I hope the people who skipped rent, get permanently penalized on their renting record, and not allowed to let it slide as covid ****. they better have consequences for screwing over the landlords.

Yes, it was conservatives and libertarians who were warning about this while fighting tooth and nail to keep sodomy laws in place and to put a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage in the constitution.

You just won't admit that you support government power expansion just as much as the socialists and communists.

Well this is a bunch of bull.

I have tenants that I have been trying to evict since BEFORE the pandemic. And we are at the limit right now for my state's small claims amount.

They haven't paid in months.

DT made his money in real estate, and knows how game is played.

Nothing in his past (often nasty) dealings with tenants, and or what he has done since becoming POTUS shows he gives a rat's behind about renters.

Closer to the truth Munchin and other instruments of DT have been combing federal statues to find things he can do without Congress (or believes so anyway), that will score Brownie points in coming weeks before elections in November.

Just as with his EO stopping payroll tax withholding, this latest effort is another 'you have to reelect me in November to prevent changes in new year".

Some liberal states such as CA and NY, I believe, have already instituted eviction restrictions months ago. It's not a conservative or Trump agenda. Furthermore, this is done under the health act of 1944. So it's not something Trump invented recently.

To stop evictions, health officials are relying on the 1944 Public Health Service Act, which gives the administration broad quarantine powers

Show me the post where I supported any of that. Go ahead and prove that you didn't just make up all that crap about me.

True, but Trump doesn't have to emulate the stupidity of the leadership of those states. Who is putting a moratorium of the property owners expenses? Mortgage? Fuel? Utilities? Landscaping? Insurance? Snowplowing? Have any of the greedy fools running these cities and states (or Trump for that matter) even put a moratorium on their property taxes? How do they expect property owners to survive when they are forced to provide for deadbeats for months? Even more than most states eviction laws already required?

Smart landlords would just make sure the insurance is paid up and arrange for the buildings to go up in flames.

And they could easily push through something right now to limit Trump's power and all future executive overreach. It's a conservative principle and Democrats aren't going to object to reining in Trump's powers. So why aren't they going for that?
