It depends on location, your habits and age, I suppose. Right now (in Ohio) masks are required in indoor spaces but otherwise, that's about it for me. I do whatever I want, whenever I want, I'm working, my friends and family are working, we have church, we have groceries, I eat at restaurants, etc...

But I'm definitely in the minority here. Our restaurants are OPEN - dine-in, the bar, the whole thing - but - many, many people I know refuse to go. Will not go. Some will not even get take-out. Others have groceries delivered, then handwash them. They're practically paralyzed with this thing. Our fave restaurant - we see the same folks, week after week - and no one else.

So - it just goes to show - whatever restrictions you THINK are in place - they hardly matter. People are self-limiting in huge numbers. Every day, that eases a bit - another person decides to "take a chance" - but it's slow going, no doubt. Ask the airlines.

I don't want to take a vaccine that hasn't gone through rigorous testing. Six months from start to finish for a vaccine does not make for rigorous testing. I'll wait until it is proven.

Who are "they" and exactly what restrictions are you under?

Yeah I mean I want to take a vaccine but there's no way I'm getting it before a published phase 3 trial is concluded.

Absolutely not. And that will certainly not be in October.

I wouldn't want it to be the "norm" the rest of my life. But I also I wouldn't care either. Because I never was much of a socialite or enjoyed being around most people. Theres been a VERY select few of people I have ever clicked with. If you prefer solitude, this isn't a big deal. People need to learn how to be individuals and loners and enjoy their own company.

Government all up in ya grill has been normal since 1791.

Periodic tweaking is just part of the torture. It's what you signed up for under the Social Contract.

This Republican/conservative fetish of Covid being some extra special nefarious plot to see "how far" Sammy can push you is the most laughable paradigm I can think of.

You've been enslaved and enjoying it for well over 200 years, at minimum, and just now they are seeing if you'll really "fight back"?

Please.
