Yes, assault. They were actually throwing chairs and reaching onto people's tables and taking things. I heard a lot of smashing glass. The victims just sat there and looked stunned, or left the scene.
All of this behavior has been minimized and normalized...all summer...by the MSM and politicians. They think property doesn't matter. They think the right to live peaceably doesn't matter. They don't care about business owners. Did Biden even meet with them in Kenosha?
Yet when the mob showed up at Gavin Newsom's home and chained themselves to his gate, he didn't tolerate that for one second.
And we are supposed to care that prior to this, the protest was peaceful? Sorry, but this invalidates the protest entirely. That anyone is still having these mass gatherings knowing how they devolve...that throws into question their motives. At some point the public just has to call bs on this whole movement.
It spoke volumes that with massive nationwide destruction being committed by BLM thugs, Biden didn’t see fit to mention it in his acceptance speech.
I bet you most of those people came back today and did the right thing and settled their tabs
Which is something freeloading antifa and BLM would never do, they believe they have the free right to other people's labor and goods in a communal setting.
Or maybe not.
These businesses are losing money because patrons don't feel safe enough to come back. This is Joe Biden's America, is a violent BLM / antifa supported mob, infested with daily riots.
That restaurant lost a lot of money in property damages. I wonder if they can sue BLM? The rioters were
saying they were BLM, so can the organization or it’s leaders be sued?
Protesters just gave patrons a free meal and you guys are complaining? Damn.
It is hardly a free meal if you do not get to eat it, and how do you know it was not paid for?

I'm not sure why black people protesting police brutality care what white people think, at this point. You see how that doesn't make sense, right?
That was not non-violent. Sweeping dishes off the table in front of diners is violent. Throwing chairs is violent.
Doing that sends a message all right, and the message it sends does not make many people sympathize with the cause.

I would have paid my bill, then or later, with an extra tip for the folks who had to clean up the mess.
The restaurant owners claiming to support BLM are just doing it in hopes of being able to stay open without being vandalized again.

No patrons were harmed, but they were "attacked"?
No patrons were harmed, but there was "violence" against them?
So if I threw a plate at a wall and you were standing next to me, you'd call the cops because I attacked you, right? That plate someone embodied violence against you?
Hey, maybe help defund the police, put money back into those communities, ...
Money has been put into those communities since Johnson's War on Poverty in the 1960s. Welfare, housing, affirmative action plans, paying women to sh*t out babies where they can't even tell who the father is... Billions of taxpayer dollars have already been wasted with no ROI.

How about parents in these communities stop raising thugs? And stop having litters of offspring that they have no way of providing for?
We're experiencing what 60+ years of Democrat handouts have led to.

Give me a break...
Yeah that was damned considerate of them not to harm anyone while they were turning over tables and terrorizing people. I should be surprised that someone actually defended the animals, but what else can we expect from the side of criminals and terrorists?
And by the way, turning over tables and throwing people out IS violence against them. Any injuries caused by the people fleeing in terror from the not so peaceful protesters would be the fault of the thugs, I mean “protesters”.
I’m sure if I came I to a restaurant where you and your family was eating, turned over the table and told you “the parties over”, you’d just think “oh, well. They’re really not violent”.

Yes, they were under attack by an angry mob. Wake up.
