Exactly. The entire world is involved in a conspiracy, destroying national economies, based on USA politics. Right. What kind of person thinks like that!

The U.S. is not the only country dealing with Covid-19. If what this post and others are saying is true, that Covid-19 is nothing more than a political tool, then start providing me the conspiracy theories. The U.S is currently in a period of slowly easing restrictions. I suppose then that other countries in the same position are "in it" with the U.S. to take Trump down. New Zealand increasing lockdown measures, Germany pausing easing restrictions, South Korea tightening restrictions, Melbourne under lockdown in Australia...the list goes on.

It's posts like this and people in this country that continue to fuel the flames. It's the citizens who chose to have big gatherings, not wear masks, and simply don't want to impeded on their precious freedoms. It's absurd how naive and self-centered so many are.

That being said though, of course there are some taking advantage of Covid-19 in an election year. It's human nature to pounce when a door is opened. But Covid-19 is not a political weapon, it's a health issue, plain and simple. Although an average of around 950 deaths per day in the country doesn't sound that much, that equates to around 350,000 deaths in a year. On average for all cause, it's around 8,000 death per day. So Covid-19 represents 12% of that. And I know there will be those who say the cases and deaths are inflated for a variety of reasons. Even with a 10% margin of error, it would still be more than 10% of all deaths attributed to Covid-19.

Keep on making this a U.S. thing, as if it doesn't exist anywhere else, or that other countries aren't facing the same issue. I guess many people chose to put blinders on just to defend their beliefs.
This is where we get into weird territory, if we have control over the deaths and it is purely a political tool then Trump is in charge. He has the ability as does the leadership in other countries to reduce the mortality rate, has he made smart decisions. Seems like these posts are neglecting some important facts, its like arguing with crazy people.

Plan 201, and no, it is not just about USA politics. Plan 201 was a tabletop exercise: https://www.centerforhealthsecurity..../scenario.html in the Fall of 2019. From that article, this is in short what the exercise involved:

"Event 201 simulates an outbreak of a novel zoonotic coronavirus transmitted from bats to pigs to people that eventually becomes efficiently transmissible from person to person, leading to a severe pandemic. The pathogen and the disease it causes are modeled largely on SARS, but it is more transmissible in the community setting by people with mild symptoms."

Oddly familiar is it? Who were the sponsors? Bill and Melinda Gates (eugenics), John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Center for Health Security, and the World Economic Forum. The timing is rather remarkable, Fall 2019, just before the outbreak.

I just found a link to a video concerning the "scamdemic", and will watch it in the morning. Perhaps others might be interested: Pandemic II: Indoctrination Just "food for thought" for those that formulate their own thoughts!

I agree COVID is a convenient political weapon.

But it's REAL as hell and if it hasn't killed your grandmother already it's doing it's damndest.

Take it seriously. Mail in vote.

What could happen is it simply falls off the news cycle. And when it does that, nobody, especially politicians will care about it since it won't buy them popularity points.

Things will reOpen, cases will still happen as with any other virus, and people still will die from it. But if there is no political advantage to be had by it , it will just be another talking point in a deck of other talking points.
Covid has been out of some news cycles for maybe a week. Then it comes back in because of a new wrinkle or a new hot spot.

The virus will come back into the news on Sept 21, when Canada renews the border lockdown. Trump has been increasingly aggressive with Canada, 29 Democrats stepped up and told Canada to open the borders. Every month it is discussed, every month so far Canada says no, and Trump is becoming more aggressive. It will be in the news on Sept 21 - bullying tactics as usual. Who knows why he cares about the Great White North border - the USA is richer when everyone stays home, including Canadians. What's the problem?

What if Trump could open the Canadian border before his election? Would that look good on him? Would he wear that as badge of success that he's conquered the economic problem of covid?

When you come to America, you should learn our states. NYC is not a state.

Also, NJ is a blue state and they have opened indoor dining. So you're wrong.

The virus is a convenient political weapon, but who is using it? When the virus was loose in China and then Italy, wasn't the president calling it a democrat hoax? That wasn't fake news, that was an international broadcast about the US position on the virus.

It's not just about killing sick old people, it's about causing permanent health damage to otherwise healthy people with no underlying issues, including children. The virus is shortening lifespans across the board.

Pretty sick. That's screwing over your own citizens for political reasons. You have businesses that are shuttering and the politicians don't give a damn. When the election is over, COVID-19 will be less of a big deal. Watch.

What we know is you supply nothing factual supporting your otherwise baseless allegations.

Our lack of a response has caused all these restrictions by other countries, they damage US trade and business. The wealthiest country is in bad shape and that northern border impacts businesses. Yes reopening the border would be a positive as would travel to Europe but he doesn't seem to care.
