Does the same logic apply to the police and fire department?

With that same logic, let's get rid of police departments and if something happens to you, be responsible and pay money out of your own pocket to hire investigators when a crime is committed against you.

After all, it's your problem. Your responsibility. Not mine. Not big daddy gubermint's

Trump promised he would have a bigger, better, cheaper health plan than Obamacare. Nobody forced him to make those claims.

This election, is trump running on promises not kept because he is not the art of the deal-maker? ^^

I suppose we can go back to a time when plagues and pestilence was rampant due to lack of public health, potable water, sewers....

Is that what the right is looking for?

Just wondering do you happen to live in a trailer home deep in the country all alone?

Big shock there.
He has actually been promising it for over four years...that and a wall that Mexico would pay for, an end to the American carnage in American cities that he claimed only
"he' could fix, that we would 'lock up Hillary', etc you name it.

Can't believe anything he says. Nothing.

This thread follows the same pattern as the others when folks factually point out Trump's actual behavior.

There is deflection to Obama, the Dems, Hillary, McCain, and now Biden.-anyone but Trump. Is Trump ever responsible for his actions?

The thread is about his repeated promises about a health care plan. He hasn't delivered anything. It would be different if there was at least a proposal that would be starting point but there hasn't even been that.

What he has done is chip away at Obamacare using every measure available without going to Congress except the mandate repeal which went through the Congress as it should.

The question is not whether you think the feds should be involved in health care or not. They already are. The issue is Trump promised to repeal and replace OCare and nothing has been done on the replace part.

He would have to get a bit of cooperation from congress to do that- they are too busy trying to overthrow election of 2016 for that

Our Congress has spent 4 years trying to get him out of office.
The Republicans have spent 4 years trying to remove Trump? Oh please.... that is totally false and just another one of Trump's embarrassing attempts at scapegoating.

Why didn't Donald Trump work with the Republican majority ( House and Senate) for the first 2 full years he was in office? Why does he not work with the current Republican Senate or put any pressure on Mitch McConnell and his cohorts? Are you basing this on false braggadocio from the sham book, The Art Of The Deal? Wake up, it was as phony as Trump is phony!

P.S. Remember, "I alone can fix it"? Reality is this: Donald Trump has no interest in America and even if he did, he remains totally incompetent and knows nothing about working with others, let alone health care issues or managing the Federal government and operating within our laws and institutions.

But first Trump should have a plan and show some leadership, I have yet to see a anything from the republicans other than to defund the ACA. They dragged out the lawsuit in the Supreme Court so it will occur after the election. When they removed the penalty in the 2017 Tax Cut it appears they sealed its fate.

Trump keeps claiming they will cover preexisting conditions and everyone will have healthcare but how.
